Holidays are some of the best times to make money online if you already have an established audience to sell to. One reason they should be already established is because well you always trust somebody who you have known longer than some random stranger…right? Especially some random stranger trying to pry you away from your hard earned money.
What is Black Friday? To me its just a day that gives us consumers a reason to buy something and not feel guilty! I mean honestly do you really think retailers are trying to save you money? or get you to spend enough in bulk that it makes up surpasses anything they could’ve lost on the so-called sales that they are having for this special occasion. I focus on fashion based affiliate sites and consumers+black friday+clothing = $$$$ when you already have a targeted mailing list of over 5,000 subscribers for a targeted product.
Heres a task for you that you can start on TODAY. Think of one of your favorite holidays…okay you ready? No matter if its Valentines, Christmas, Halloween or something simple as birthdays there is money to be made. Some marketers cash in BIG prior to Valentines with gift suggestion sites and others get yearly revenue from Birthday e-card generation sites and reminder services that send friends a simple e-card and birthday wishes to their email on that special day. The key is to have an established audience to sell to whether that be a targeted mailing list or a niche blog like we spoke on in the previous article. So start today and by the time your favorite holiday rolls around you could have a real revenue generator.
First you should brainstorm and think about how you will build your audience and what holiday you will target. Second how will you monetize the site? You could use an affiliate site like Commission Junction or direct advertisement from Adsense by Google. Either way you need an audience that is interested in sending gifts, finding the right gift or buying their kids costumes for Halloween or something product related to that Holiday or can generate enough traffic that something as small as Adsense will generate some real income.
